Track Name: If History Has Taught Us Nothing
No. We know. And that's what makes it worse.
Turn. We all turn. And that's when we lose ourselves.

Without a doubt.
Deep down inside.
We all know.
And turn our eyes.
So much for our
Intelligence
It is if...
History has taught us nothing.

We are the proof of excess
We sit so high in our thrones
(Entitled wastes of space)
Without consideration
So we continue this
(And fuck our consequences)
We should be ashamed
But we consume away.

No. We know. And we just watch it burn.

Without a doubt.
Deep down inside.
We all know.
And turn our eyes

...we should be ashamed
...yet we consume away
Track Name: We Are All Cynics and Liars
Why must, we cling, to the thread, beyond that of our identities
Shielding our thoughts, we pretend it's okay
Forget the lies and hold the disdain

We chase the fate that we believe - believe that we all deserve
Yet we hate, we hate the place were we have decided to lay our heads at night

I'm not too proud but I still can't admit it to myself

Why must, we stain, the hands, of our own being
The patron saints and sinners came
From far and wide, all to witness

But are we not all just cynics and liars, armchair critics hidden by desires
Under guise of perpetual demons, we will all burn in our fires
This is not the way we should deem the values of our own being
If we detest our own reflection can we forgive our imperfections?

What if we were to look
Without these lies, would we conceive
more of compassion and less beliefs?

We hate this face that we can see - we can see is so hopeless
And we place, we place the fate that we conceived to where our heads should lay...

But are we not all just cynics and liars, armchair critics hidden by desires
Under guise of perpetual demons, we will all burn in our fires
This is not the way we should deem the values of our own being
Why do we hang our heads, before our eyes will lift us from rest?

What will it take, to see the true face of change?
With open thoughts, we'd see it's okay. Forget the lies, release the hate.
Track Name: Judging An Empty Shell
I will stare at these words until I believe in my own bullshit.

"I'm not the man who made this, But I'll be the face you'll blame.
Judge this empty shell, of where I once used to stand."

Judge this shell, of where an imprint should land.

Take every little lie, of the day add a desire to control
...And I'll relinquish it all just for a taste

A mysterious wave of form with something to believe
...Yet it's all, for the chase

of finding, a better me, defining, a better me.

"Capture this very last emotion to sell me back me.
A wasted soul which can't recall when it was last complete."

A wasted soul of what a man should be.

If I stare at the words long enough, maybe I'll believe in your bullshit.

My insecurities and all my fears will wear like open wounds.

The wants and the needs of times long past, will bleed of me, will be of me.
If I never give, I will never gain, but giving up it isn't me.

Are we all masked in a delusion, that perpetuates it will be okay, if we shut our eyes, and turn the other cheek? This isn't something, we can fuck away.
But don't let that stop you from trying. We all need to believe, before it's too late.

Give me just one, single moment, to feel alive and you'll have my word,
I'll refrain from this hate, even if for one second, to believe, to believe in me.

I've read these words long enough to know they're all bullshit.
Track Name: Without Hope of Remption
Be gone, the figurative head of your figure head is dead.
Burn the fables and run amok and watch the skies turn crimson red.

Without hope of redemption. You blindly cast the stones aside.
Without hope of redemption. You're falling on that cross alone.

You think a book, can bind the fabric of our cultural design?
Naivety is all you need, until the binding comes undone.

Know, there is hope, buried in this darkness
No, you can't rely on empty words alone

Know, you must displace material commitments
No, you can't deny the primal course of nature
You can’t divide the cynical design

Without hope of redemption. You blindly cast the stones aside.
Without hope of redemption. You're falling on that cross alone.
...falling on your cross alone.
